Sites of Jewish history in Lviv: from idea to realization

This blog will be informing readers about the realization of the projects commemorating three sites of Jewish history in Lviv: “Synagogue Square”; “Besojlem Memorial Park”; and “Yanivsky Camp Memorial”. The projects were selected in an open international architectural competition, co-organized by the Lviv City Council, the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe and the German Organization for International Cooperation, the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). More information about the competition and the winning projects can be found on the “Previous Competitions” pages of this website. We invite you all to join in the debates and discussions on our blog.
